When I arrive at a venue and notice that there isn’t a single drum kit on the stage I immediately know I’m in for an evening of pure, heart told music. Such was true at Seattle’s Funhouse this past week with Diamondwolf starting off the evening. Comprised of Seattle locals Alicia Dara and Glen Cooper, both on vocals and acoustic guitar, Diamondwolf layers strong rhythms and harmonies to tell their stories. The folksy duo’s recent release, Your Time Has Come, features cellist Danna Birdsall who made an appearance on their final few numbers.
