Hailing from Toronto, Skye Wallace and her backing band brought everything to the Phillip’s Backyard concert series. This is straight rock from a great group. The instrumentals all work in great layers, the energy is always up, and above all else is Skye Wallace’s vocals soar. She has a voice that sits above the mix and has enough angst to be interesting and more than enough melody to fit her bands equally talented backing. Hopefully this won’t be the last time Victoria gets to see Skye Wallace.
