Tash Sultana’s recent show at the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver was nothing short of mesmerising. From the moment Tash stepped on stage, it was clear that they were not only energised by but deeply connected to every person in the crowd. Their love and passion were palpable and it was wonderful to witness them enjoying the experience so thoroughly.
Tash’s ability to transition between instruments, from drums to keys to guitars and even wooden flutes, saxophones, and trumpets was awe-inspiring. Throughout the night, they seamlessly blended tracks, experimented with electronic synth passages, and let loose with explosive guitar solos.
Tash’s special connection with the crowd, immense musical talent, and deep love for their craft were certainly all on full display – leaving us all buzzing with a little bit of magic as we spilled out of the Orpheum onto Granville street and into the rainy Vancouver night.
