Vance Joy graced Phoenix with his presence this past Saturday, March 18th, at Arizona Financial Theatre on his “In Our Own Sweet Time Tour”. Singer of hit song “Riptide” (2013) gave the crowd a glimpse of that summer feeling with his upbeat, carefree music. Joy’s set was nonstop energy as the crowd sang every song back to him. He performed songs from his newest album, “In Our Own Sweet Time” (2022), as well as his “Nation of Two album (2018), and even gave us a blast from the past with songs like “Saturday Sun” (2018), “Lay It On Me” (2017), and “Wasted Time” (2015). Vance will finish tour later this month in Washington DC, before heading out to perform at Winnipeg Folk Festival, Somme Festival, and a few more North American shows in August and September.
