It’s more than evident Grouplove have been making albums and touring together for over a decade. Watching them play live was kind of like magic. Hokey as that sounds, watching from the photo pit or in the upper balcony of the venue it was impossible to miss their bonds. Both their bond to the music and more so to one another. Effortlessly connecting with each other throughout all of their songs. Working the whole stage. Connecting with the audience. After all, “Grouplove is the whole fucking room.” Everything about this performance from the venue and lighting to the mixing and setlist was above any standards I had going in. Grouplove have devoted their lives to this music. We couldn’t be happier they did.
