Bastille came through town as a part of their Doom Days world tour. The stage design included multiple platforms, beginning with a vintage television set, a staircase, and a circular spinning turntable that frontman Dan Smith leaped off of in time to the music. During “Things We Lost in the Fire” Dan played a drum while fog and orange lights surrounded him creating a fire-like landscape. The large screen created scenes to match the each song and platform seamlessly. Every lyric was belted out by the audience in the most epic sing-a-long, accompanied with clapping, hand waving, and lights shining beautifully through out the theatre. This tour is not one to miss, you can find dates on Bastille’s website. Check out photos from the show below.
