Most concerts will have a headliner, accompanied by one or possibly two opening acts. That’s the way things have always worked — but could there be a better way? Instead of performing in three separate sets, Emily Scott Robinson, Alisa Amador, and Violet Bell have united as a supergroup of singer songwriters. Weaving their sets together, accompanying each other, and performing as a group, this group of artists is truly greater than the sum of its parts.
With four enormously talented musicians on stage at once (Violet Bell consists of Lizzy Ross and Omar Ruiz-Lopez), this concert took you on a journey from song to song, from artist to artist, and told a story all the way through. It would be amazing to see more musicians collaborate and tour like this in the future.
