Thousands of fans gathered at The Masonic in San Francisco to catch Canadian rapper, NAV perform his Never Sleep tour to a sold out crowd. Opening the night was fellow Toronto artist Realest K who impressed with his melodic hip-hop performance, followed by SoFaygo who accompanied by his DJ, Backwoods, brought a high energy performance to the stage.
NAV opened his set with the tour’s namesake track “Never Sleep” which immediately put the crowd in a frenzy. Throughout his set, he performed songs all throughout his discography from newer tracks to deep diving into his catalogue with songs like “Know Me,” “Turks,” “Wanted You,” and “Champions.”
While the stage setup wasn’t very over the top, the lighting and video feed footage helped create a sense of grandeur that elevated the quality of the performance. NAV should be commended for the level care he puts both in his music and his live show.
